Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG macro lens for Canon was designed for using with full frame digital SLR cameras. And the 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG macro lens may also be used with smaller APS-c size sensors with a corresponding effective increase in focal length to about 100 to 450 millimeters with most cameras. The entire zoom range provides the minimum focusing distance of 59 inches and a maximum of 1:2 magnification ratios. A switch is already added in order to reduce the minimum focusing distance at 150 millimeters to 95 centimeters. Additionally, SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements offer optimum color correction and sharpness throughout the entire zoom range. And the lens also includes a lens hood and front & rear lens caps.
